On the 13th and 14th of March, the final translational meeting of the “GYL – Games, Youth & Learning” project took place in Valladolid, Spain, hosted by the Spanish partner Aspaym. The Project, funded by the Erasmus+ program aims to:

  • Finding new methods of social inclusion for young people through gamification
  • Promoting positive attitudes towards diversity in young Europeans
  • To share the knowledge, experience and good practice previously achieved in the field of gamification and the promotion of equal opportunities among young people.

The meeting represented an occasion for the partners to meet again and discuss the final results of the project and try out games proposed by the consortium as a good practice on inclusion. After an interesting visit to the facilities of Aspaym, the partners had also the chance to try out the games explained in the Booklet of recommendations. Partners also made an interesting visit to PRAE, an environmental education center in Valladolid, where they discussed how gamification can be used for young people to understand important topics such as climate change.

The meeting confirmed the fruitful collaboration that led to the booklet “Games, youth & learning: how to gamify to improve youth inclusion, booklet of recommendations for youth workers” translated into all partner languages: Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Turkish!

Accademia IRSEI APS was enthusiastic to participate in the Project and collaborate in the realization of these important results together with partners: Fundacion Aspaym Castilla y Leon from Spain, Cooperativa Compacting from Portugal, Ceipes Turkiye from Turkey.
