Accademia IRSEI APS just came back from the journey to Romania.

The team spent three day for the second meeting of the Nature’s Math project, which aims at developing innovative educational activities in the field of environmental awareness and mathematics thinking for kindergarten students.

During the days in Romania, all the partners coming from Turkey, Bulgary and Italy, had the chance to discover activities that the Kindergarten GRADINITA CU PROGRAM PRELUNGIT NR.6 implement with its students. At the end of the project, the consortium will create a booklet with all the activity plans that each partner institution will have developed and implemented.

During the transnational meeting, we visited two kindergartens and observed several games with educational purpose dealing with nature elements, colors and creativity.

It was very interesting to learn how mathematics and environmental issues can be taught to very little children and each of us came back home with lots of inspiration.

Another aspect that consortium appreciated is that each of us tried some of the activities, like discovering some natural elements in the wood following some indications, and we learned by doing!

This meeting let us know the activity plans produced by Romania, so now we are eager to see the others and work to integrate all of these innovative activities into the school curricula.

Thanks to our Romanian partners that gave us the occasion to know their amazing culture!
