The work of the CAMPLUS project partners is progressing to ensure the achievement of the set objectives.

The aim of the Erasmus+ project called CAMPLUS (project number: 2021-1-FR01-KA220-ADU-000028439) is to improve the empowerment of migrants and promote their social and professional inclusion by developing training courses on entrepreneurship, leadership, and personal development. After developing the training for trainers and practitioners working with migrants, the partners are implementing the training directly in two refugee camps.

Specifically, the partners are collecting feedback and analyzing the results of the training held in the refugee camp in Erbil (Iraq) by listening to the testimonies of the refugees themselves and their needs related to the project. The first training was organised by the Iraqi partner EPU with the support of the entire partnership. The second training was held in Greece, in a refugee camp near Larissa, organised by the project partner IED, which updated the partners on the success of the activity.

During the last online meeting, which took place on the 18th of December 2023, the partners also addressed other topics such as:

  • The status of the dissemination of project objectives and the participation of the CMA partner in an event that allowed addressing issues such as the skills most in demand in refugee camps and how to implement them. The event was held on the 6th of December 2023 online in the presence of NGO staff and directors.
  • The planning of the next transnational partner meeting which will also be held online on the 6th of February 2024
  • The status of the toolkit (IO1) and product manual, the collection of the necessary good practices, and the next steps for each project partner.

The CAMPLUS project involves six international partners from Italy, Greece, Iraq, France, Germany and the Netherlands. To stay updated on the project’s progress, follow the official social pages: LinkedInXFacebookInstagram.
