Accademia IRSEI, as part of the Talk Retail project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme (project number: 2021-1-IT02-KA220-ADU-000026600) has just completed the pilot testing phase of some materials produced for the e-learning course, available on the platform “Talk Retail Training”. All courses on the platform aim to increase retail workers’ knowledge about learning specific English terms and to hone their communication skills for international sales. 

During this pilot, course number 7 on “Effective Pitching Techniques” was tested, the course analyses through video lectures, exercises, quizzes and illustrated images, the main topics related to ‘product pitching’. The pilot test was organised with 10 participants who were able to understand the main techniques for attracting, convincing and retaining customers. Participants were able to increase their digital and language skills after testing their knowledge base through the quiz exercises provided in the ‘Test Yourself’ section of the course.  

The pilot test was followed with interest by the participants, who provided valuable feedback on the partners’ work to date in creating the courses. In addition to the piloting phase on the platform material, the partners are committed to continuing their work to realise the expected results of the project.
