As part of the ‘CIRCULAR LOOPS‘ project, financed by the EU Erasmus+ programme, Accademia IRSEI organised two days of pilot events (on 13 and 15 December 2022) with the aim of promoting the circular economy approach among social enterprises.

After producing multimedia training materials and playful tools, the aim of the events was to present and test the products created.

This was followed by a peer-mentoring programme for managers of social enterprises, in which 3 mentors will support managers in identifying and adopting process or product innovations in line with circular economy principles.

The main aim of the project is to spread the principles of the circular economy among social enterprises and to push them towards innovation in an increasingly sustainable direction.

The event was attended by managers from social enterprises and students from the Pio La Torre school.

The course was an opportunity to show what has been produced over the duration of the project and to stimulate a green economy approach among the participants through interactive exercises and group discussions. At the end of the mentoring course, the trainees will be able to independently develop a business plan that also includes sustainability elements in processes and/or products.
