Objectives

The project aims to:

  • Develop a comprehensive toolkit for youth workers using digitalization and non-formal education methods
  • Strengthen the capacities of youth workers to effectively support and engage young people with fewer opportunities, including those in rural areas
  • Build competencies for less experienced organizations in youth work through practical applications
  • Support and promote the recognition of youth workers within local communities across participating countries
  • Enhance the visibility of youth work practices at the European level through dialogue with stakeholders and responsive transnational cooperation

Activities

The project will engage in the following activities:
  • Conduct training and seminars on digitalization and social networks for youth workers, enhancing their transversal competencies to effectively engage young people with fewer opportunities, including those in rural areas
  • Organize working sessions involving debates, mapping visits, and workshops for youth workers. These sessions aim to promote youth social inclusion, encourage active participation, and prioritize the needs of young people within their communities
  • Undertake research activities including local surveys and focus groups to support youth work in local communities. This involves gathering knowledge, fostering critical thinking, and analyzing youth work processes in collaboration with stakeholders

Results

The project will generate the following outcomes:

  • Creation of a toolkit for youth work entities about the digital tools available and how to adapt it to the needs of the target group. 
  • Explanatory videos in which the partners organisations will give information from the seminar with different content. 
  • An informational report containing youth work diagnosis in the partner countries, best practices of youth work and possible solutions. 
  • An interactive platform dedicated to the young people targeted by the partners organisations which will include various modules as a mapping tool to find youth opportunities in the local communities of the partners countries (local activities) and also youth european opportunities.
