On 27th and 28th September SENIOR project partners met face to face in Palermo for the 1st Transnational Project Meeting organized by Accademia IRSEI-APS.

MotiMera, from Sweden, Uno, from Spain, and Accademia IRSEI-APS from Italy had the chance to discuss about the results of the first phase of the project: the research.

The research that partners carried out during the last months is, on one hand, about cultural and historical traditions that each of the participating countries is loosing and needs to be preserve and, on the other, on how to ease intergenerational exchanges between young and elderly.

After conducting the first step of the project, partners will develop a testing phase where some workshops about traditional food, dances and artefacts addressed to the young will be held by the elderly. In addition to this, there will be an ICT course addressed to the elderly people to let them acquire some digital skills needed to be socially included.

During the meeting, partners talked a lot about how this project could really strengthen social inclusion and the European identity against discriminations and nationalism.

Do you want to be involved in the project and know more about it?
