Accademia IRSEI APS is thrilled to announce that the Talk Retail – International communication skills for retail – project has officially been launched!
On April 4th and 5th, we hosted the online kick-off meeting of our first project as coordinating organization, and we couldn’t be prouder of such an achievement.
Talk retail aims at creating a shared guide on soft and international communication skills within the retail industry, with tips and activities to develop those skills together with a self-evaluation test and a networking platform for retail workers.
In this sense, all project activities are meant to draw a comprehensive point of departure for strengthening the communication skills of people working in retail, which nowadays often suffer the lack of proficiency in English language. The project will produce the following results:
- PR1 – Retail Talk Skills: an international report and guide on international communication skills in the retail sector
- PR2 – Skills Self Evaluation: a Self-assessment tool.
- PR3 – Retail Talk Training: an E-learning course composed of 8 modules
- PR4 – EU Retail Network: an innovative networking platform between workers in the sector
The report will define the research starting point, the self-evaluation will become a tool for individual “self” analysis and the course will set the contents. Last but not the least, the networking platform will be defined as a point of contact between retailers – in the partner countries and beyond – to keep in touch and grow, stronger, together.
